Do u have a checklist on what to achieve before you reach a certain age?

I do.

So here's the story.
I applied for my MBA in several universities in Europe; Birmingham, UCL, Sheffield, Brunel, etc etc.
At this young age with no commitment, why don't we do something that we know we are capable of doing before it is too late, right? and the duration for my study is only 1 year.
and having my Masters before I reach 30 is one of my checklist to be crossed.
So yeah, the application process for the university didn't took me long. Received positive feedback in less than 3 weeks, mostly offering me conditional offers which are to sit for IELTS and to pay deposit of few thousand pounds.

Few thousand pounds.
Hmmm.
Itu la masalahnya.
I had insufficient funds to go.

The fees.
Tell me about it. I opt for Birmingham University because it offers me MBA in International Business.
UCL is one of the top uni for Business but to pursue in Finance is kinda tough for me plus living in London town is very expensive.
The fees itself is seventeen thousand pounds. say it with me! it is in freaking 17,000 pounds!
I can only pay for the deposit but how about my living cost and the remaining fees?
Weighing few financial options I had, korek sana, korek sini. bukak buku asb, applied for study loan including MARA and scholarship, but to my misfortune, it is still not enough. and I didn't get MARA loan for some reason.
some suggested to take a study loan from bank. bank will always be bank, where they charge us high interest rate.

now how I wish money grows on tree.

One day, I had a heart to heart conversation with dad on how disappointed I am. Kept blaming myself for not saving a tiny amount in my piggy bank, the course selections for MBA (reason MARA rejected my offer, IB is not a high demand course) and stuff.
and the only thing dad said. " Try again next year. Allah has a better plan for you.."


I stumbled a moment, reflecting his words.
Yes, he's right.
I can only plan, but without Allah's will, I can never go.

and then I asked myself, do you really want to continue study or just want to get out from this country?
my heart strongly agrees on the latter.


It answered why Allah holds my checklist.
