I feel like writing
something today.
I can’t help
myself from letting old memories hit. At times when your mind wanders around,
it causes flashbacks.
Sometimes it is okay to reminisce the old time though it
hurts. I can’t stop them. It’s not because I had not moved on but it is simply
because I am amazed myself for who I am today. And when it happens, I can
always take a step back and see how far I've gone and take a moment to reflect
myself.
Praise my
gratitude to Lord, because it is all because of His wills.
Friends and
family always ask, “How’s life been treating you?”
I answered with grit on my teeth, “I am fine. Never been this good.”
I answered with grit on my teeth, “I am fine. Never been this good.”
Time flies,
fast. I’m amazed how the past 365 days with altogether of 8,760 hours turned
magically wonderful. I realize I can never depend on someone for to gain happiness
because happiness must come from within. Why? Because only you, yourself can
feel it.
Self-content, a
lifetime happiness.
I can’t
deny that there are times when the world surrounds you collapsed. I face some
of these at several points of life. I was totally in mess when Mom passed away,
5 years ago due to cancer. I was totally devastated after found out I dated a wrong guy at the 7th year of dating just before we decided to tie the knot. Not to mention
at some point when I faced some financial breakdown and I thought I've screwed my career. You see, world won’t always be at your side all the time, and there are times when you don’t see things coming, will come.
Those were
the time I feels so fcuked up with life and I foresee my world collapsed and
miserable. Again, I keep on telling myself over and over again; it’s not the
condition of situation determine how happy I am. It’s my choice of thoughts, attitude and behavior towards these circumstances. I can't be that positive all the time, I lie when I said it is easy. It is definitely not. But I realize my self worth and how far I can go, I let God guides me there.
The point here is: You decide
whether to be happy or unhappy. Your choice.
And I've made my choice.
On the other note, I was stumbleupon while writing this and I found 45 Life Lessons, written by a 90 year old.
